Jennifer Maidman

This is Chris Wells, the creator and host of The Secret City. I’ve been hosting a daily Facebook live gathering since last week, to provide people connection and community in this strange and uncertain time. I’m sharing words and ideas and inspirations for finding meaning and creative spark in this moment. I’m also promoting the work of individual artists–this global shut down is particularly hard on those who rely on events and gigs to make a living. Artists and performers are vulnerable–so, I’m encouraging people to follow these people, support the artists they know, buy their work and their merch, throw them a bit of change.

Today I’m presenting Jennifer Maidman–a wonderful member of our community in New York City and Woodstock. A fabulous bassist, singer/songwriter, producer and multi instrumentalist. Her album Dreamland is just beautiful–a musical journey of transformation and spiritual seeking.
